At the back of this picture Baba wrote, on the 1st of January 1953, “A young man gave it to me and requested that I give it to the Amarya of (RSM) Ahmadu Dosso”.
In case you did not realise, this is a picture taken in Trafalgar Square London just in front of the National Portrait Gallery.
You really do have a responsibility to History to post your fathers photos as these are very rarely seen and a great weight of History has obscured the African solider from his courage in combat, discipline and loyalty to the British Empire.
